It was born from lived experience.
After becoming a widow six years ago, our founder walked through repeated seasons of transition grief, instability, reinvention, and rebuilding. Life shifted emotionally, financially, spiritually, and practically—often all at once.
That journey revealed a gap many women fall into:
• When crisis ends, but support disappears
• When survival mode lifts, but structure is missing
• When healing begins, but stability hasn’t caught up
Ruth’s House exists to close that gap.
We understand what it means to:

• Heal while still carrying responsibility
